Our school was recently profiled by EdChoice on our response to COVID-19. We developed an online platform called Montessori@Home, which includes live Zoom sessions, pre-recorded videos, and access to curated digital resources to support early learning at home at a child’s own pace.
Although we rarely support passive screen time for young children, we’ve learned how technology can build community and enable active learning while maintaining physical distance in times of national crisis.
