We’re always looking for passionate and creative educators to join our growing family of schools. We believe that children have unlimited potential, and they have the capacity to be independent and socialize with grace and courtesy. Candidates ultimately reflect Dr. Montessori’s characterization of an ideal guide: “The greatest sign of success for a teacher… is to be able to say, ’The children are now working as if I did not exist.'”

Successful candidates should be team players, open-minded, hilarious, and excited about learning. They should be reliable; seek to work in a small, family-oriented business; follow directions well; and aspire to grow with the same company over several years.

Questions? Say hi.

Why should I work at Montessori Preschool?

Many of our teachers have been with us for over 20 years. Why do they stay? Teachers have always commented on our workplace culture and genuine commitment to children.

🍎Montessori Teacher Owned-and-Operated

For the past 24 years, we have been owned and operated by an AMI-trained Montessori teacher and her family. Teachers are in leadership roles, so learning (not profit) is always first.

🇺🇸 Small Scale and Local

Our schools are small-scale, owned by a local Texas family of teachers. We believe that through smaller, close-knit environments, children can unleash their unlimited potential.

🌱 Commitment to Growth

Whether it’s becoming a master Montessori Guide or Montessori Trainer, aspiring to school ownership, or pursuing their Montessori certification, we like to design individualized paths for development to support our teachers’ career trajectory. We believe the Montessori Method is a beneficial framework for professional growth, and with the right environment and challenges, teachers can discover their unlimited potential and realize their dreams.

❤️ Collaborative, Supportive Parents

Our admitted families share a commitment to an early education and a global outlook. Over our 24 years, our families hail from over 150 countries, helping lay the foundation to educate children about their role as global citizens. They seek to build a sense of school community, and they seek to work alongside their child’s teacher in a collaborative and respectful way.

🔤 Authentic Montessori Education

We believe that Dr. Montessori was ahead of her time. Her method – now supported with evidence-based research  – demonstrates that children are incredibly capable of early learning, independence, and socialization. We believe in following her method closely, utilizing qualitative evidence to guide our work, and avoiding unnecessary exams that preclude the goals of a joyful learner.

🌎 A Global Outlook

We believe that children should be in a loving environment, surrounded by people who look and think differently than they do. Children must learn to navigate differences, appreciate the contributions of diverse cultures to human society, and graduate from our school with a desire to explore world cultures and the skills of empathy, collaboration, and critical thinking.
