Last week, Officer Lemon of the Harris County Sherriff’s Office visited our students.
He showed different kinds of items found on a police officer, including a police badge, tool belt, and handcuffs. He spoke on the importance of not speaking with strangers.
He also metioned that 911 is an important number for emergencies and passed out coloring books on safety.
For our parents, he shared a copy of the National Child Identification Program ID kit. These documents provide police and public officials useful information about your child in the event of an emergency – be sure to update these documents as your child grows.
