International Doll of the Month: Germany
Ms. Katja Stein, Emily and Mila's mom, gave a special presentation on Germany for our students. She spoke about the diverse geography of Germany and sang Bruder Jakob, a Germany lullaby sung to the tune of Frère Jacques.
A Visit from Jason the Bagpipe Player
Music is a key component of the Montessori classroom, helping children appreciate world cultures and history. Our students recently got to listen to a Bagpiper, an instrument common in parts of Ireland and the United Kingdom.
