The Year of the Dragon

2012 marks the Year of the Dragon for the traditional Lunar New Year.  From China to Malaysia to the United States, tonight will be a loud celebration of firecrackers, delicious moon cakes, and colorful dances.

At school, we celebrated with our own colorful parade with an enormous dragon, silk ribbon dances, and loud instruments.   Everyone was able to carry their own lanterns and dragons while processing in the parade.
